A New Chapter Begins: The University of Arizona Chapter Initiation

On December 1st, Jackson Westhoff, our Director of Chapter Success, and Alex Swanson, our VP of Chapter Success initiated 32 new members from the University of Arizona Chapter. Initiation is a ceremonial milestone celebration upon the completion of chapter onboarding. During the ceremony, PGN Nationals will delve into organization’s history, discuss what it means to be a member of PGN, and highlight the meaning of each letter. Each member will sign the founding charter and is presented with a pin and a red rose to symbolize their membership.

Here’s a short message from, Cecelia Coburn, Epsilon Mu’s founding President:

“As PGN’s newest chapter, we hope to achieve and initiate connectivity. For our active members, we are setting up guest speakers to cover all aspects of business, connecting common interests and alumni from both the University of Arizona and PGN. The core of business is the value of your network, and that is something our chapter is dedicated to providing to all members.”

Initiation plays a pivotal role in fostering a conducive environment for collaborative understanding and professional development in our organization. The initiation phase of PGN sets the groundwork for establishing rapport, building trust, and defining shared goals among participating individuals in order to build a stronger and better community.”
